Our Studio. Our Story.
The Woven Wolf classes are filmed in/ based on our ‘bricks and mortar’ sewing classes in Toronto at The Make Den. The Make Den was established in 2010 and since then we’ve taught over 5000 people how to sew. We are super proud of our students and their incredible accomplishments.
The Make Den is located in a beautiful two level, 4000 sqft studio with over 25 awesome Janome 625e sewing machines, 6 sergers, a Janome coverstitch machine, 5 cutting tables, 2 industrial leather walking foot machines, and a leather working studio.
We have expanded our curriculum to include 3 levels of beginner sewing classes, quilting, intermediate and advanced tailoring, bra making, mending and alterations, leather working, leather bag making, screen printing, embroidery, millinery and more.
Our studio was born out of a happy co-incidence involving an amazing charity, (check out more details about our partnership with PACT here) a genuine desire to share skills with others and to foster the spirit of DIY and independence.
The Woven Wolf is an extension of that desire to share skills with others and to make our classes available to everyone, everywhere.
